Our web design and development process
When it comes to web design and development, it is very important to work with a company that knows how to get things done. We have a systematic process that allows us to work with you at your own pace, but also creates an atmosphere where you can be involved in the process. We are working together on this project. It is a collaboration, not a dictatorship. Please read our web design and development process below to learn more about the steps involved in bringing your website to fruition.
Stage One: Discovery
We want to know all about you! Part of our onboarding process involves completing a discovery questionnaire, asking lots of questions about your business or organization, telling us about sites you love, sites you own and more. Then we’ll schedule a time to start the call so we can talk about everything you’ve got to offer.
Stage 3: Content
A website isn’t complete until every page has content. Hopefully, you’ve worked hard through stages 1-3 to have your content ready for stage 4. Your customers came to your website for a reason, so you want to make sure you’ve answered all of their questions! Content is important to every website.
We’ll take your content and put it on every page so it looks great and is easy to read.
Stage 2: Design
Here's where the fun begins! Using the information you provided during discovery, we'll create a custom design just for you. You'll receive a style guide for colors and typography, so we want to hear from you and get your feedback and input throughout the entire process.
Stage Four: Publish!
It’s time to publish! This means that you’ve tested, approved, and are ready to send your site out to the world. We’ll do all the technical work in the process — uploading it to your server, getting it live, and any necessary bug fixes. (We’ll make sure Google knows about your site, too.)
